As Sisters of the Holy Redeemer, we are women called by the Spirit of God to continue the mission of our founder, Elizabeth (Mother Alphonse Maria) Eppinger. By sharing in a religious community of faith and patterning our lives on the life of Jesus, the Redeemer, we are bound together by a shared commitment: to be a healing presence in a broken world.
Elizabeth Eppinger applied the value of seeing and ministering to Jesus in the person of her neighbor to the needs of her times. Today, we who are bathed in her spirit, continue to see the Redeemer in the myriad faces of our neighbors. As the needs of our world, our Church and our neighborhoods change, so does our response. Perhaps you also desire to be a healing presence in a broken world? We invite you to come and see.
“The love of God and the love of neighbor are but one single love; they cannot be separated from one another.”
– Mother Alphonse Maria Eppinger
