Redeemer Ministry Corps (RMC) invites you to grow in your faith life, to discover more about yourself and your relationship with God while integrating the service experience. You can explore your faith journey through:

The community living experience affords you the opportunity to live with the Sisters of the Holy Redeemer and other RMC volunteers and to:
  • journey with like-minded companions
  • develop friendships
  • learn from others
  • share one’s faith
  • be adventurous
  • be challenged
  • have fun!
RMC volunteers commit to a year of service in Philadelphia or Southern New Jersey in the areas of:
  • health care (nursing, therapies, pastoral care, hospice)
  • social work/services
  • child care
  • elder care
  • homeless men, women and children
  • education
RMC volunteers receive:
  • Monthly stipend of $100
  • Room and board
  • Medical insurance
  • Transportation to service site
  • Student loan deferment
  • Option for spiritual mentor
RMC volunteers participate in:
  • Orientation and debriefing programs
  • Retreats
  • Days of service and reflection
RMC volunteers are:
  • Single, ages 21 and older, with no dependents
  • College educated or have life experience
  • Committed to living out their faith in a supportive faith community
